The solution is suitable for businesses where staff work alone, encounter people in vulnerable situations, or are in hazardous environments. It is common in healthcare, care services, social services, schools, industry, and other workplaces with increased risk.
When the alarm is activated, the information is automatically forwarded. The position is displayed immediately and the right people can take action without the person sending the alarm needing to explain the situation. The alarm can reach colleagues nearby, the alarm centre, or both at the same time.
The Work Environment Act requires employers to identify and address risks in the work environment, including when working alone and the risk of threats or violence. Personal alarms and clear routines are common and accepted measures to meet these requirements.
The alarm is forwarded to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), internal resources, or both, depending on how the solution is configured. Those responsible get accurate information and clear positions, which makes the response both quick and structured.
