SRT334i2
SRT334 is an RF tag for indoor positioning, developed for operations where GPS is insufficient, that is, indoors. It is mounted at strategic locations within the premises and communicates with compatible personal alarms, so that the alarm receiver knows exactly where in the building the alarm was triggered. No GPS coverage is required.
How it is used in practice
SRT334 is used in environments where staff move indoors and GPS does not function reliably, such as LSS residences, social services offices, libraries and hospitals. The tags are placed around the premises and create a positioning network that provides the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) or colleagues with spatial information directly when an alarm is triggered. The coverage area can be adjusted to suit the specific environment.
